With over 280 employees, three production plants (in Spain, the United States, and China), and a consolidated turnover of €60 million, P4Q Electronics solidifies its position in the electronic manufacturing market

Renewable energy, automotive, rail, and medical equipment are some of the sectors where the Spanish company stands out

This week, the new headquarters of Group P4Q, the top manufacturer of electronic components, was inaugurated in Alonsotegi, a small town of 2,900 inhabitants located in the Basque Country, Spain. “We never considered moving to another location, we grew up in Alonsotegi and we want to continue positively impacting the economic and social levels,” explains the company.

The new P4Q headquarters, with a total investment of €6 million, has an A energy certification and features 1,500m2 of office space, 2,400m2 of electronic component production plant, R&D laboratories, a real-time monitoring center, prototyping spaces, and a 600m2 warehouse, among others.

The facility features the most advanced market technology for electronic manufacturing, including intelligent cabinets, state-of-the-art automated SMD assembly lines, X-ray 3D and flexible assembly cells and lines for in-house and EMS products. Additionally, P4Q has embraced Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Analysis to add value to its renewable energy (solar) and medical-sanitary product lines.

“Our main competitive advantage is knowing how to combine the latest technology in the development and manufacturing of electronic products with Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Analysis algorithms, through a human team committed to innovation and the shared project,” says Aitor Alapont, CEO of P4Q Electronics.

The P4Q Group’s growth in recent years has been sustainable, with a turnover of €58 million in 2022 and a forecast of €87 million this year in 2023.
