Pérez takes the helm after 11 years with the industrial group as Commercial Director, becoming the first woman to lead Kinematics’ electronics division.
Aitor Alapont, CEO and Co-Founder, will continue within the Group as CEO and shareholder of its health and wellness subsidiary.
Kinematics today announced the appointment of Noemí Pérez as the new Managing Director of its electronics division, formerly known as P4Q. Pérez succeeds Aitor Alapont, who, after 27 years of full dedication to P4Q, takes on a new professional challenge as CEO and shareholder of Qassay Diagnostics—the group’s health and wellness spin-off—leading its international growth.
The appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Kinematics, marked by the company’s international expansion into markets such as India, China, and the Middle East; the global integration of its subsidiaries and teams; the growth of its services vertical; and the launch of innovative new products for the photovoltaic industry, including the next generation of solar tracker controllers.
A Strategic Decision
“Noemí Pérez has demonstrated her leadership over the past decade at the helm of the commercial team, achieving growth that has doubled the revenues of the electronics division,” said Alapont. “Her vision will be instrumental in our expansion into strategic markets such as India and in bringing new products to market.”
Noemí Pérez holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Electronics from the University of Deusto, an additional degree in Industrial Organisation Engineering from the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería de Bilbao, and an MBA from ESIC Business School. She began her career at BATZ (FPK), an industrial group where she spent nine years leading international projects, before joining P4Q, where she has built her expertise over the past decade. “I am grateful to Kinematics for the opportunity to lead such an exciting project, and especially to Global CEO John Payne and our Board. I begin this chapter with the invaluable support of Aitor Alapont, who has inspired me and helped me grow throughout these years,” said Noemí Pérez.
A New Entrepreneurial Venture
Aitor Alapont, as CEO and one of the principal shareholders of Qassay Diagnostics, will present his new venture on Thursday, June 18, at BAT (Bizkaia Acceleration Tower) in Bilbao. The company focuses on people’s health and wellness through measurement technology, and operates across multiple business verticals, including Welleo, a data-driven B2C supplementation brand, and Alaba, a brand dedicated to reproductive health.
