About P4Q Group

Founded in Europe in 1999, P4Q Electronics is original design manufacturer (ODM) of proprietary PV Solar Tracker Controllers (Suntrack®), for which we are the market leaders and high precision diagnostic tests (Qassay) as well as electronics manufacturing services provider for high demanding industries worldwide such as Rail industry, Automotive, Industrial and other.

In 2007, P4Q first introduced the most advanced technology in Solar Tracker Controls in the global market; The first Tracker Controller of its kind - Suntrack® TCU - becoming world leader.

Today, we continue leveraging our strengths, extensive know-how and decades of experience developing and producing highly engineered products and high-quality electronics manufacturing (EMS).

P4Q has continued to invest in world-class Research and Development (R&D) to deliver greater value to customers and expand its portfolio of products and added value services remaining at the forefront of innovation in The Renewble Energy Industry for PV Tracker Controllers, offering the most comprehensive range of products and services in the market.

Diversification

One of the most significant foundations in P4Q Group growth strategy is the diversification of our activity, portfolio and expansion into different business areas in Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, along strategic partnerships and collaborations.

To boost its ambitious growth plan, Private Equity Fund Talde, entered its shareholding in 2019, holding majority stake. The management team who are founding members and part of the shareholding, will continue heading the company management.

P4Q Group global footprint: Our R&D center is located in Europe, Basque Country Region (Amorebieta, Spain). 

Our facilities are located in Europe, North America and Asia with production plants in Alonsotegi (Spain), where our headquarters are located, Albuquerque (USA), Kunshan City (China) and Suntrack® aftersales support in Chile, Brazil, Mexico.

History

1999

• P4Q was founded, by a group of entrepreneurial engineers in 1999, as a PCBA Contract Manufacturer.
  
  

2002

• 3 more engineers joined the company; at this time the company evolved into an end-to-end manufacturer of electronic products & Systems. Today P4Q is ODM in the PV Solar and Medical Industries.

2007

• P4Q creates what would become the firm´s first branded product, and the first Tracker Controller of its kind, Suntrack®, an intelligent surface mount tracker controller used in devices that track the sun to create more energy for different solar technologies.

2009

• P4Q sets an effective R&D Team at the AIC Center near Bilbao, in Basque Country. The center provides the opportunity to optimize innovative collaboration with world class companies in the automotive industry- Automotive Intelligence Center.

2012

• To cater to the Solar & Automotive industries and support our global customers, P4Q set it´s first international production plant in Albuquerque, NM (USA). From this location we serve the growing demand of our customers in the Americas.

2018

• A new P4Q facility is established in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province China. This is the company's first step in developing a presence in Asia and a step further in offering our customers support in three continents and support in global manufacturing programs.
• P4Q facility in NM, USA doubles it´s SQ ft to 22,000 Sq ft to better cater for market demand and clients´ needs.
• P4Q establishes technical office in Aguascalientes, Mexico (Solar).

2019

• Talde Private Equity becomes shareholder of P4Q Electronics Group. Talde Private Equity has taken a majority stake in the capital. The management team, linked to the company shareholding, will continue leading its management.

2020

• Although the company had been providing after-sales support and value added solutions for the extensive Suntrack® product line from P4Q Electronics, in 2020 , Suntrack Services was created as a subsidiary of P4Q, as part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at long-term growth and customer service excellence.
• Qassay high precision diagnostic test device is born, adding to the ODM family (Healthcare industry).
• P4Q Acquires consulting and development firm CDM.guru, incorporating different technologies such as Cloud Management and Cybersecurity.

2021

• P4Q joins UNEF Unión Española Fotovoltaica. Industry Association for Solar Photovoltaic Energy in Spain.
