During the quotation phase P4Q works with its customers in Open Book. Thereby the customer has detailed knowledge of the breakdown of the manufacturing costs for their products.
We offer this service for our own interests, given that it is our understanding that this represents added value which provides greater benefits for the relationship of trust we wish to convey.
The quotation sent to the customer is therefore broken down as follows:
- Cost, delivery dates and suppliers of the components making up the product
- Costs and times of the different process phases
- Final price
The way of improving costs is working with real data and quotation breakdowns. The customer, in collaboration with the engineers at P4Q, will make it achievable to meet the cost objectives we have set ourselves. This is a vital tool which generates trust between both parties and, without which, an improvement in the reduction of costs would not be feasible.
